Flannel feather warming her,
Hot soup and bread to taste,
A fire and dog’s unfailing fur,
A dormant heart awakes.
Life bursting into beauty,
Along a distant misty gate,
Unfolding hidden tulips,
The wintry chill abates.
Spring, a maiden waits anon,
Her dance amidst the glade,
Snowdrops braided in her crown,
A dormant heart awakes.
Magenta sunrise, starry sky
float above the mountain thigh.
The wintry chill abates.
A dormant heart awakes.
